Robert Earl Keene's Merry Christmas from the Family
Yes, we've all heard this little masterpiece from the great Robert Earl Keene many times, but it always helps me get through the season - or to Christmas Eve night when I finally get into the spirit of things.
His shows can be a little uneven but they're usually a lot of fun. I've seen REK close to a dozen times and the last was one of the best. Definitely worth watching out for!

Hard not to sing along at a show. I miss the old iteration of the band with Lloyd Maines on steel guitar and Duckworth playing fiddle.
I haven't been to a show, though I've been a fan for years. He comes to town pretty often. I need to keep an eye out and make plans.
