Been meaning to comment for a long while. I have long enjoyed your writing in the various Texas magazines and such.
I especially enjoy the stuff about the Palo Duro area. I spend a week every spring at Caprock Canyons State Park. Got relatives buried from Memphis to Alexandria on both sides of the Red. We've been here a long time.
From what I read of Matt's review, I should pick up a copy of your book. I have a couple of his hand-me-down hawks that I fly every day in the Denison area.

I wonder of we share some hunting ground. I'll bet we know some of the same places. If you're out hawking and a little yellow cur pops out of the woods, speak up. I'll be close by.
